Cooking Okra with Different Ways

Do you know that there are different recipes that you can prepare with okra? Fried okra, okra dish and okra soup can be given as examples of different okra recipes. Since we will share a sour okra dish with you in this recipe, let's take a look at how to make a delicious okra soup first. To prepare an okra soup, let's start by cooking approximately two hundred and fifty grams of diced beef with some liquid oil. Add approximately one and a half liters of water to the roasted meat. Continue cooking until the meat is tender. Boil two hundred grams of fresh okra in a separate pot with some lemon juice and water. In the meantime, separate the water of the boiled meat in a separate place. In a separate pot, roast one chopped onion with vegetable oil. When the color of the onions changes, add a tablespoon of tomato paste. And continue to roast the onion and tomato paste. After roasting the tomato paste, add the boiled meat and continue roasting. Add the broth and boiled okra to the mixture. Finally, add the juice of one lemon and a teaspoon of salt. After boiling the sour okra soup for about thirty minutes, serve it hot. Maybe you will be surprised because there is a different pickle recipe that you can prepare with okra. If you haven't prepared it before, you can also prepare okra pickles at home. To prepare pickled okra, we wash half a kilo of small okra well. Then we cut the top of the okra in a cone shape with the help of a knife. Pour a tablespoon of rock salt into a clean one-kilogram jar. Place two cloves of peeled garlic on top of the salt. Fill the drained okra into the jar. Put two more garlic cloves on top. Boil one hundred mililiters of water, two hundred mililiters of grape vinegar and one tablespoon of rock salt in a separate deep pan. Pour the boiled vinegar and water mixture into the jar. Close the jar tightly and turn the jar upside down and leave it like this for two or three hours. Your okra pickle will be ready after waiting for about two weeks in a place that does not see the sun. That's how easy it is to prepare delicious pickled okra. Enjoy your meal.

100 ml Olive Oil

4 Cups of Boiling Water (800 ml)








How to Make Okra Dish?

Wash half kilogram fresh okra well.

Drain the washed okras well.

Cut the top of the fresh okras in a cone shape with the help of a knife.

Pour one hundred mililiters olive oil in a deep pot.

Add one chopped onion and roast the onion well.

Add two grated tomatoes.

Add one tablespoon of tomato paste.

Add juice of one and a half lemon.

Add half kilogram washed fresh okra.

Add two cups (four hundred mililiters) boiling water.

Cook the okra dish about fifty five or sixty minutes.

Add one teaspoon of salt.

Add additional two cups (four hundred mililiters) boiling water.

When okras get soft, your okra dish is ready.
